Seek out professionals in the field you're looking to enter how they got to their roles. It's okay to ask for advice, but have a real interest in them and the work they're doing.
Know Your Numbers
Stories matter, but so do numbers. Show your potential to scale your work and demonstrate results. Indicate how many you've served and your impact.
